Home Improvements when selling a home

Home Improvements when selling a home – When you are preparing your home for sale, there are many inexpensive improvements you can do to your home that will bring you greater value and help sell your home faster. We have all heard that you should de-clutter and de-personalize. Of course, if you are undergoing a complete overhaul and throwing away large amounts of waste, then you might consider having a dumpster rental from dumpster services like dumpster.co to clear your clutter quickly. It’s important to show off just how spacious your property is and hoarding junk is one guaranteed way to distract potential buyers. Furthermore, we also know that if you have unlimited funds then granite, hard wood and stainless steel appliances are all the rage, but expensive. There are also the basic improvements, such as new carpet, but this can still costs thousands of dollars. The following are some inexpensive ways to improve your home with very little cash that we suggest you consider before selling. Create Value Selling a Home, Home Improvements when selling a home

1. Repaint or Replace Front Door

The national association of realtors does a study every year of “Remodeling Cost Vs. Value Report”* where they rate home projects with the highest and lowers return on investment. Last year the highest return on investment went to replacing your front door (85.6% R.O.I). The first impression is a lasting impression so make it count. A dated front door makes a house look cheap, and a worn front door makes a house un-cared for or old. However, if you have a nice front door and if you don’t need to replace your front door consider painting it a bold color, maybe using high-gloss paint or staining of its stained. If your front door is in disrepair, consider replacing it with a new, stylish door. For a $300 to $800 dollars you can buy a nice door. It is also a nice touch to put a flower pot on each side of the front door with flowers in bloom. Home Improvements when selling a home

2. Interior Doors

This is also true for interior doors. If you have old dated brown flat panel wood doors, consider replacing them with nice raised panel white doors or paint the existing door to make them look clean and fresh. The basic raised panel hollow-core doors are about $20 to $30 and they come pre-primed. If you want to make an extra good impression, replace the trim the with and an updated style. Home Improvements when selling a home

3. New Electrical Switch Plates

This is such an easy improvement, but can really stand out. We have seen freshly painted rooms with old yellowed ugly switch plates. Even worse, some even paint over them. New switch plates cost about 50 cents each. You can replace the entire house with new switch plates for about $20. For the entry, living room and other obvious areas, spring for nice bronze or brass plates. They run about $5 each – but make a difference. Create Value Selling a Home

4. New Door Handles

In addition to changing doors, consider changing the handles. An old door handle, especially worn gold ones look bad. For about $20, you can replace them with new bronze finished handles. For an added touch you can also replace bathrooms and bedroom door handles with the fancy lever handles (about $20 each). Home Improvements when selling a home

5. Caulking, Weatherstrip, and clean windows.

Caulk all your tubs and showers, make them look freshly new. Replace the weatherstripping on all exterior doors, it dampens road noise and makes the house seem tight. Have your windows professionally cleaned, this is a massive improvement that will make your home seem new. If you notice that your windows are looking old, it might be more beneficial to consider getting them replaced instead. While you’re at it, you might as well call in the #1 Pressure Washing Services Long Island NY | H&A Power Washing to make your driveway more presentable. Whilst cleaning can be beneficial, it is a short term solution if you notice that your windows are needing an upgrade. It might be worth getting in touch with a company that can replace windows phoenix arizona area, or try finding another company closer to where you live. That will improve your home’s exterior significantly.

6. The Entry

After the front door, your next first impression is the foyer area; make sure it is inviting. Find a plant, decorative piece of furniture or art that sets the tone for the home. Many older homes have linoleum entry floors. Consider 12? ceramic tiles, which for an 8ft x 8ft area should cost about $100 in materials, or use travertine. Home Improvements when selling a home

7. In the Bath

It is amazing how many older homes that have an ugly old shower curtain. An old used shower curtain can be a turnoff and make the home feel dirty. If your shower/tub is nice, buy a curtain that ties back so you can show off your tub and display decorative soaps and candles. If you have shower doors and they are worn and beyond reviving, consider removing and hanging a curtain. If you need to replace a shower door, consider clear glass to make the bath look larger (unless the shower is unsightly then use obscure glass). A new shower door cost about $500. Shower Doors and More will measure and install for about the same price as the door alone. If you need a new vanity they are a couple hundred dollars. Make sure the bathroom is clean, put up decorative towels and soap. So make a trip to Ross, Tuesday Mornings, Fred Meyer or Target and buy some fresh towels, decorative soaps a nice new rod, curtain hooks and a fancy curtain. Home Improvements when selling a home

8. In the Kitchen

Replacing kitchen cabinets is expensive, but painting them can save you money. If you have old 1970?s style wooden cabinets in a lovely dark brown shade, paint them. Use a semi-gloss white and finish them with colorful knobs. Replace the old dated doors with new shaker style doors and paint. There is no need to paint the inside just organize them well so if they are opened it, is not scary in there! For a considerably more you can replace the cabinet doors and paint them to match the cabinets. Americans spend a major amount of their time in the kitchen so a nice bronze modern faucet looks great as well. They cost around $150 from Home Depot but you can shop sales or go to Amazon or eBay for better deals. Home Improvements when selling a home

9. Window Shutters and Trim

If the front of you home is plain or you have old looking windows, consider adding shutters. You can purchase them in a few colors at Lowes and are easy to install. For a custom color you can purchase them pre-primed. Paint them a color that sets off your house. They do not necessarily need to be the trim color – (if the house is dark, paint the shutters white. If the house is light, paint them dark). You can enhance your curb appeal by just painting the trim of your house. We actually replaced our outside trim and added crown and dental molding and now our standard 80’s home looks more like a craftsman home and the trim really pops. If you are willing to go the extra mile then it might be worth looking at installing Replacement Windows before putting your home on the market. Home Improvements when selling a home

10. Add a Nice Mailbox and House Numbers

Everyone on the block has the same black mailbox. Be different and for about $35 you can buy a nice mailbox. For about $60 more, you can buy a nice wooden post for it. People notice these little details and buyers love them! Also buy new house numbers or paint the existing ones make them stand out. Be creative. Home Improvements when selling a home

In a nutshell, beware of what is advertised as a good system.

The best for the money: Wireless is the most efficient, effective and user friendly system.  The are easy and inexpensive to install, $150 installation plus about $650 for cameras and DVR, total investment of about $800.  However, with a system like this you are giving up functionality.  Resolution is a 5, 720 to 1080p at best.  Night vision is 3, you really cannot make out images 25′ away in low light. They only record on movement so you do not have a timeline of everything around your property.   Ease if use is a 10, you have to mount your cameras in a strategic location, hook up a ‘brain box’ next to your router, download an app and away you go!

Do you really want security?  If so, purchase a wired system, These are expensive to install, but the benefits are amazingly better.  Resolution is 2 to 3 MP, this is double your HD TV resolution.  They record constantly, so you never miss a movement or moment on your property.  Resolution can detect license plates, night vision is greatly improved, and control is at the highest level.  These systems can cost $250 for the equipment to as much as $1500 depending on the number of cameras and DVR storage.  Installation can cost $500 to $1500 depending ion multiple factors.  Security Camera Features You Want

Beware of bad systems!  Wireless systems are useless if you have to run a power supply to the camera or cameras.  Look at your home and visualize on how the data cables need to be run.

Kitchen Soffit Renovation

Kitchen Soffit Renovation

The kitchen remodeling Baltimore residents can count on for any kitchen renovation you might need.

Many homeowners want to solve is what to do with unwanted soffits – that boxy, closed-in space stretching from the top of a kitchen cabinet to the ceiling. Sometimes there’s stuff hidden behind them; sometimes there isn’t. Either way, kitchen soffits of all kinds can look dated and clunky, or they simply might not work with your kitchen design. While it’s not always possible to completely remove them, there is always a renovation solution that can help you make peace with them. Let’s investigate! Plano Texas Handyman can make your kitchen soffits look great. Call us today at 214-507-3415 or visit our website for all our capabilities on Kitchen Soffit Renovation

Can you remove them

Before you think about getting rid of your soffits, you need to learn about their AC preventive maintenance and know whether they were a design choice or a structural necessity. It’s common practice to hide mechanicals, like electric wiring, plumbing or HVAC duct work, in the soffit space and then box it up with drywall. The only way to find out what’s inside your soffits is to crack open the drywall and take a look. You can do this yourself if you’ve got a bit of DIY skills, or get a professional to do it.

If there’s nothing hiding inside, congratulations! Your soffits were a design choice, and knocking them out will be a quick and easy kitchen remodeling project.

If there are mechanicals in your soffits, it’s slightly more complicated. Whatever is in there will have to be redirected; either further into the wall, into the ceiling, or elsewhere. Your contractor will likely have to bring in a plumber, electrician or HVAC specialist that can offer services such as this team of plumbers at found at WWW.MOFFETTPLUMBING.COM/AREAS-WE-SERVE/PLUMBER-FULLERTON-CA/ for example, which will obviously bring the cost up, but you’ll also have a professionally finished job. Cabinets may be affected too, depending on how they were installed.

If they must stay, how can I disguise them?
So your soffits hold important mechanicals that you either can’t redirect, or it would cost too much to do so. Don’t panic! Just get creative. There are plenty of design solutions and tricks to help you blend them in with your kitchen. Here are a few ideas to help you:

Create the illusion of tall cabinets – paint the soffits the same color as the cabinets, or, if you’re installing new ones, ask if matching panels can be made to cover soffits.
Add niches – is there room between the mechanicals to open up a few built-in shelf niches in the soffit? Wire each niche with a recessed light and use them to display fine china or artwork!
Make a counter nook – Extend the soffit past the end of the cabinets to create a nook around the kitchen.
Paint ’em! Clever use of paint can disguise the soffit too. One idea is to paint the cabinets, walls and soffit all the same color to create a monochromatic look. Another idea is to paint the ceiling a vibrant color while leaving the soffit, walls & cabinets neutral. Kitchen Soffit Renovation

Use Molding – Trim the soffits with decorative molding where the cabinets stop, and where the ceiling starts.
Add ceiling beams – adding beams to the ceiling gives you an opportunity to hide your soffits themselves as beams.
Having a hired designer or contractor can be really helpful with this kind of problem. If they are familiar with remodeling kitchens, they’ll have a bevy of ideas to suite your specific needs and bring your kitchen up-to-date. If you live in the Plano Texas, Mckinney Texas, Dallas Texas or Frisco Texas area, give us a call! We’d love to help.

Making your Home Energy Efficient – Builders often refer to the exterior of a home as the “envelope” or the “shell.” Sealing the envelope or shell against air infiltration (air leaking into the house from outside) and air exfiltration (air leaking from inside the house to the outside) helps reduce your energy expenditure for space heating and cooling. Besides, no one likes to live in a drafty house. One way to reduce heat leaving the home is to look into infrared heaters, where they only heat the person instead of the surrounding area, this might come in handy if you live in a big house and find it hard to warm up until you utilize these ideas. If you want to learn more, then in this post you’ll be able to research and look into what you could be getting.

In this article, we’ll show you a variety of ways you can seal leaks and improve insulation to make your home cozier and more energy efficient. Once you view this company it will help you have insulated the home, the work doesn’t stop there. We’ll show you how routine cleaning and water conservation can increase energy efficiency and save you even more money on your energy bills. Begin the improvement process with the following basic sealing guidelines to help you secure your home’s exterior. Contact Ted at Plano Texas Handyman at 214-507-3415. Baseboards and Floors – Gaps are often left between baseboards and hard floors, such as tile, hardwood, or laminate flooring. These gaps can be successfully and neatly filled with latex caulk, thus preventing air from entering the home at foot level. Making your Home Energy Efficient

Weatherstripping Doors – While windows attract most of the attention when it comes to energy efficiency, doors can play a major part in what can go wrong — or right. Doors have a particularly difficult role to fill. Not only do they need to open and close smoothly and easily, but they also have to seal tightly to keep out drafts, and must have at least some insulative value to keep cold at bay.

There are many different options on the market that can be used to upgrade a door’s existing weatherstripping. Some of the most effective are types that contain a vinyl bulb or padded strip set into the edge of a conventional wood doorstop. The wood part is nailed to the doorjamb and is flexible enough to conform to even a badly warped wooden door. The vinyl bulb or strip seals out air movement, but is gentle enough that the door’s function is not affected. Energy Efficient Homes, Making your Home Energy Efficient

Sealing Windows – Owners of older homes that still have their original windows are often dismayed by the amount of cold air leaking through those old windows during the winter. There are several ways of dealing with this problem that don’t involve a lot of time or money. Speaking of which, those who own conservatories are notorious for being energy inefficient, it would be a good idea to consider something similar to LEKA Roof Systems to improve the energy efficiency of the conservatory and by extension your home overall.

One option involves using a caulk gun and “weatherstripping caulk sealant” or “temporary” caulking to seal up the cracks between the window and window frame. Weatherstripping sealant is caulk that is designed to stick in place nearly as well as regular caulk but can be peeled off when it is no longer needed. It is available inexpensively in regular caulk tubes and comes in a clear color. It is nearly invisible when in place and removes easily without damaging either paint or clear finishes.

Switch from incandescent to fluorescent – Although compact fluorescent bulbs cost more initially, the end result is considerable savings. This is because fluorescent light bulbs last 8-12 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Even using a mix of fluorescent and incandescent lighting throughout your home can have an impact in overall energy usage. Contact Ted at Plano Texas Handyman at 214-507-3415. The big difference between CFLs and incandescent bulbs is how much energy it takes to use them over time. CFLs use about 70% less energy than incandescent bulbs. They also last years longer than traditional bulbs, and only cost about a dollar more per bulb. Energy Efficient Homes, Making your Home Energy Efficient

However, one of the biggest drawbacks of CFLs is that it takes a few moments for them to warm up and reach full brightness. That means they’re not ideal in spots where you want lots of light as soon as you flip the switch, such as a dark, steep basement stairway. They also cannot be used with a dimmer switch. Energy Efficient Homes

Now consider that those savings are from just one bulb. Think about the number of lights in your house — some fixtures, like chandeliers or ceiling fans, probably even use three bulbs or more. If you replaced 20 incandescent bulbs with LED light bulbs throughout your home, you could save up to $3,260 over their 23-year lifespan (and that’s assuming utility rates don’t rise).

Eliminating Ice Dams – If you have ice dams forming on your roof during the winter, it means that heat is escaping the house and leaking into your attic. If you’re worried about this happening, then you could consider contacting some roofing companies cedar park to get a quote on a damage assessment. Ice dams are the manifestation of energy inefficiency in a home. They are the result of poor air sealing, a lack of insulation, and inadequate ventilation in an attic.

Warm air travels upward because of its natural buoyancy. As it reaches the ceiling in the top floor, it seeks ways to rise even higher through cracks and gaps in the ceiling and walls. Some of those pathways are obvious; many others are not. Openings around and through recessed canister lights, whole-house fan installations, attic-access hatchways and pull-down stairs, and electrical boxes in the ceiling and walls all provide conduits from the house into the attic. Additionally, heat is conducted upward through the top-floor ceiling through inadequate attic floor insulation. The result of the air leaks and conducted heat is an accumulation of warm air in the attic. That’s why you should check in with your roofing contractors for roof repair since it can help with the insulation.

Attic Sealing and Insulation – Most every attic has at least some insulation in it, and that’s fine. The problem with insulation is that it does not stop airflow. The insulation lying on attic floors often conceals a very large problem — cracks, gaps, and holes through which pressurized air from the house below is driven into the attic.

These fissures take many forms: holes drilled into the wood framing where wiring runs from a room below up into the attic; lighting fixtures and electrical boxes; areas where the tops of partition walls in the room below intersect with the attic-floor framing; bulkheads over kitchen and bathroom cabinets; exhaust vent fans; and fireplace and heating equipment chimneys and flues. It’s a long list, and it’s likely you can find fissures in your own attic that aren’t even mentioned. Energy Efficient Homes, Making your Home Energy Efficient

These days most attics don’t have enough insulation or have insulation that isn’t working as well as it should be. An upgrade — one that will pay off every year and in every season you live in your home — is only one messy afternoon away. Yes, you can and should add more insulation to your attic. It’s one of the best ways to increase your home’s energy efficiency.

R-factor is a numerical indicator of an insulation’s efficiency at retarding the flow of heat. The scale goes from low to high; higher R-numbers mean a given insulation is better able to stop heat from moving from one place to another. Current building codes recommend an insulation R-factor of R-38 for attics in most of the country. That would be about 10 to 12 inches of fiberglass batting or blown cellulose fiber insulation. Bear in mind that R-38 is actually the minimum recommended standard for attic insulation. Proposed energy codes would increase that number to R-50.

Cleaning Refrigerator Coils Regularly – The coils underneath and behind a refrigerator are dust magnets. Refrigerant is pumped and circulated through the coils as a fan blows room air across them. The moving air removes heat from the refrigerant inside the coils. As the fan sucks air from underneath the refrigerator, it brings along with it dust and dirt that stick to the coils. Removing the access panel from the lower front of the refrigerator can reveal a startlingly filthy sight if the coils haven’t been cleaned in a while. Selling Your Home

Selling Your Home

Selling Your Home – When you are preparing your home for sale, there are many inexpensive improvements you can do to your home that will bring you greater value and help sell your home faster. We have all heard that you should de-clutter, de-personalize, and have chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven when it is shown. We also know that if you have unlimited funds that granite, hardwood and stainless steel appliances are all the rage, but expensive. There are also basic improvements, such as a new carpet, but this can still cost thousands of dollars. The following are some inexpensive ways to improve your home with very little cash that we suggest you consider before getting a property valuation in Sydney (or one local to your area). You’ll want to get the highest valuation possible, so some of these tips may be worth trying!

1. Replace Front Door

The national association of realtors does a study every year of “Remodeling Cost Vs. Value Report”* where they rate home projects with the highest and lowers return on investment. Last year the highest return on investment went to replacing your front door (85.6% R.O.I). The first impression is a lasting impression so make it count. A dated front door makes a house look cheap, and a worn front door makes a house uncared for or old. If you cannot afford to replace your front door consider painting it a bold color, maybe using high-gloss paint. If your front door is in disrepair, consider replacing it with a new, stylish door. For a few hundred dollars you can buy a nice door. It is also a nice touch to put a flower pot on each side of the front door with flowers in bloom. Create Value Selling Your Home

Create Value Selling a Home

Create Value Selling Your Home

Create Value Selling Your Home

5. Paint/Replace Trim

If the entire interior of the house does not need a paint job, consider painting the trim. Newer, modern custom homes typically come with beige or light brown walls and bright-white trim. Use a semi-gloss bright white on all the trim in your houses. If the floor trim is worn, cracked or just plain ugly, replace it! Lowes and Home Depot carry a new foam trim that is pre-painted in several finishes and costs less than 50 cents per linear foot. If you really want to create a great first impression, add crown molding in the entry way and living room. Create Value Selling a Home

6. The Entry

After the front door, your next first impression is the foyer area; make sure it is inviting. Find a plant, decorative piece of furniture or art that sets the tone for the home. Many older homes have linoleum entry floors. Consider 12″³ ceramic tiles, which for a 8ft x 8ft area should cost about $100 in materials, or use travertine. Create Value Selling Your Home

Create Value Selling Your Home

8. In the Kitchen

Replacing kitchen cabinets is expensive, but painting them can save you money. If you have old 1970″²s style wooden cabinets in a lovely dark brown shade, paint them. Use a semi-gloss white and finish them with colorful knobs. There is no need to paint the inside just organize them well so if they are opened it, is not scary in there! For a considerably more you can replace the cabinet doors and paint them to match the cabinets. Americans spend a major amount of their time in the kitchen so a nice bronze modern faucet looks great as well. They cost around $150 from Lowes or Home Depot but you can shop sales or go to Amazon or eBay for better deals. Create Value Selling Your Home

Create Value Selling Your Home

Create Value Selling Your Home

5 Reasons to use Energy Efficient Lighting

Kitchen Remodeling Costs

Kitchen Remodeling Costs – Is it possible to have an idea how much your kitchen remodeling project will cost before paying for a design? While looking at a potential cream kitchen remodel recently, I told the homeowner the first step to remodeling a kitchen is putting plans together. She understood but wanted to know if the kitchen remodeling cost was in her budget. Unfortunately, kitchen remodel budgets are like the old chicken-or-egg question: Which comes first? There’s so much to consider, from countertop materials to a local dumpster rental service, there are a lot of elements that need to be considered. It’s difficult to estimate ballpark costs without creating a design to determine the scope of work. But as a consumer, I would like to know if I could afford what I want before I invest in the design.

To help consumers understand, I decided to share some information on how much it costs to remodel a kitchen.

Remember, kitchen remodeling specifications matter, so do your homework in advance of deciding on a specification or scope of work. I always recommend customers to look into the Granite Transformations company as they have great options.

First, we need to define some parameters. Some kitchens are large and some are quite small. For this article, I am going to use a 125-square-foot kitchen. Most kitchens we remodel are between 100 square feet and 250 square feet – so 125 square feet is right in the middle. Remember the larger the space the more debris there will be to get rid of, so it’s worth bearing companies such as Best Deal Dumpsters in mind to help with the clear up.

Second, let’s talk about the level of finishes. When talking about a kitchen remodel, I typically refer to three levels: entry-level, midrange and high-end.

Third, I’m assuming the kitchen layout will stay the same, but the renovation will bring it up to code, correcting typical plumbing and electrical issues. However, this is just how I’ve priced it. It’s possible for homeowners to change the layout of their kitchen if they’d like to. They could also make a number of changes to the existing room, some people like to change the lighting and others enjoy changing the flooring. Most kitchen remodels will include new floor installation as many homeowners do want that. One of the most popular kitchen floors is actually wood flooring from companies like One Stop Flooring and others similar. Wooden flooring seems to look lovely in kitchens, as well as being practical for cleaning and underfloor heating. As the kitchen is one of the most used rooms in a house, make sure you’re happy with all aspects of your new kitchen.

Costs to remodel a kitchen
The following kitchen remodeling costs are guidelines. Each remodeling project is different, but if you use these guidelines when talking to kitchen remodelers you should be on the same page as the contractor when discussing price.

The prices are broken out by entry-level/midrange/high-end. If the price stays the same for each level, there will just be one figure. Kitchen Remodeling Costs

Choosing a Wall Mount Electric Fireplace

A wall mount fireplace is an attractive addition to any home or office. Because it provides a mesmerizing bed of glowing embers with a realistic flame effect. Nearly all models include a gentle source of supplemental heat that can be operated independently of the flame. Because it is electric, it can simply be plugged into an electrical outlet and is ready for use. All of these types of fireplaces are safe to use because they are tested to make sure they meet UL standards and are thermostatically controlled.

Making the right choice for an electrical alternative to a traditional fireplace is of great importance when customers are deciding which model to select for their homes. A wall mount fireplace or a small electric fireplace can be the best choice for individuals who have limited space or want to add a modern touch to their home or office. Not only do they provide eye-catching designs, but they can also provide supplemental or zone heat when the weather turns cold.

Accommodation For All Space And Budget Requirements

Electric FireplaceWhether an individual’s living space or business is small or large, homeowners always want to make wise use of their available square footage. These units are especially ideal additions to condominiums, lofts, apartments, single family homes or offices. A wall mount electric fireplace is a space saving device that can add the instant character of a traditional fireplace experience with a more modern twist. Customers can choose from polished or brushed stainless steel, chrome, gun metal, stone, wood or mirrored glass finishes. Also, color options are available in red, black and white. These designs will complement many décor styles. Whether you choose a wall hanging electric fireplace, a freestanding corner fireplace or a recessed built-in electric fireplace design, they will provide four season capabilities and can be operated with or without the quiet heater turned on.

A wall mount electric fireplace is not only a great space saving accompaniment to any décor, but it is economical, too. The patented flame technology allows an individual to enjoy the ambience of a real fire for 3 cents per hour without the heater on and about 8-12 cents per hour with the flame and heating element operating. It is an attractive, space saving supplemental heat source that is great for heating the rooms that are constantly used by the entire family rather than heating the entire house. Each unit provides approximately 5000 BTUs per hour of heat by using a quiet fan to force the heat generated by the alternative fireplace into the room.

Adding A Modern Touch To A Traditional Medium

Fireplaces have been a staple of homes for thousands of years. They have cooked our food, provided heat during colder seasons and have added a cozy touch to our lives. The design of traditional fireplaces hasn’t changed a great deal for centuries. However, applying new technology and modernizing an old medium is of great importance to many people. A wall mount electric fireplace is on par with wall-mounted televisions and digital picture frames. They are inexpensive to operate and easy to install, because there are no ventilation requirements. They provide a low-cost focal point to any room.

A Small Electric Fireplace For Tight Spaces

Electric FireplaceWhile a wall mount fireplace is a modern way to introduce a focal point that is also a small electric fireplace is another great choice if you prefer a more traditional look. It is the perfect solution for tight spaces, yet homeowners do not have to compromise on the heat output. Each unit produces the same amount of heat as their larger counterparts, and they come in a small, space saving designs. They can also be operated with or without the heater. A small electric fireplace can be plugged into any 120 volt electrical outlet, and most units come with remote control capabilities.

Choosing the best alternative of fireplace model for your unique lifestyle is an important decision. A wall mount electric fireplace is the ideal solution for individuals who have little floor space and who want to add a modern touch to their home or office. In the technological world in which we live, they provide eye-catching designs that supply zone heating when necessary. For individuals who want to add the cozy touch of a traditional fireplace but live in tight quarters, a small electric fireplace is the perfect solution without compromising on the heat output.
